German artist Jürgen Görg (born 1951) remains a highly collected and popular artist, despite no new limited edition releases in over a decade, people continue to collect his prints and he remains an active painter of ethereal & evocative figurative art.
He has published limited editions prints, books and bronze sculpture and his original paintings remain the pièce de resistance for any collector!
Görg turned professional in 1990 and his subtle figurative art (limited editions done as etchings, as well as oil paintings), represent some of the most beautiful and technically brilliant art within the genre. Jurgen is also a highly gifted sculptor.
I believe the artist has appeared within the gallery of several transatlantic cruise ships and has possibly painted live for enthusiastic sea goers!
Having released several successful limited edition portfolios including: the Four Elements, Swan Lake, Reflections, Midsummer Night Dream (amongst many), he remains in the home and offices of enthusiasts of 1000s of homes within in the UK, Europe and in North America.
He has recently completed exhibitions in Florida, California & Coburg, Germany.
Recently Jürgen was known to reside in Dublin, Ireland.
