‘British Racing Green,’ also known as 'BRG,' is in fact an official international motor racing colour with origins from the 1903 Gordon Bennett Cup held in Ireland. As motor racing was banned in England at the time, to show reverence for the event taking place, all the British cars that raced where painted BRG that raced!
