Part of the artist’s debut limited edition series, the ‘Keith McBride - Spring Collection 2020.’
Another waypoint into the world of contemporary art featuring guns, instantly reminding you of Keith’s fellow published artist 'The Mad Artist (Dean Martin)' and his many limited editions of animals holding guns!
Using some similar colours seen in his print 'Cash Is King,’ beautiful pinkish tonnes are a feature. It is also up to you, the viewer, to determine the meaning behind this collage.
Perhaps 'I Don't Have To Be Careful' is a line from Clint Eastwood as Dirty Harry? and if you look closer the full line is: 'I Don't Have To Be Careful, I Have A Gun.’
If I recall correctly, Homer Simpson said this in The Simpsons! More satire on American gun culture by Matt Groening and perhaps here by the artist Keith McBride.
