Love Letter by Keith Proctor

'Love Letter' is a new for Autumn 2012 limited edition on board by Keith Proctor and the artist had once again depicted his son Jack, all be it when he was younger.

In the painting, we see the child excitedly being given the task of posting a letter in the shiny red post box & he carefully, with two hands, does so. Can you see the heart on the envelope? Perhaps it is a letter to his much loved nana or grandpa, a birthday card?

I really love Keith Proctor's oil painting and the effect he is able to produce. The out of focus background houses, looking wonderfully rich in texture and homely as well. The detail in the ground the boy stands on and the clever brush strokes that make up the various tones in his top, shorts and hat.

This is a great new limited edition giclee on board and I think Keith Proctor is genuinely one of the most technically gifted artists we have in our portfolio.
