The final piece in a series of three by Kerry Darlington is 'Beezy Jet,' a clever pun on 'Easy Jet' of course the low cost UK travelling service.
So we have a giant robotic bee carrying passengers to a far off mystical land & we can see Kerry's imagination is firing on all cylinders. I love the lush blue and red background that the bee is painted on, as it passes over tranquil houses and trees, very dreamy.
The bee is a mechanical marvel ,powered by water and steam and carrying many passengers. Notice the kite flyer at the back? and also the washing line with clothes on and the tea pot, pouring fresh water in the machine!
A truly fantasy driven piece, Kerry's mind and talent is obviously in the clouds! and the results are amazing limited editions like this. Something very different for your home & small enough to fit in different places.
One of three unique edition releases, Kerry has christened them the: 'Eccentric Machines' collection.
The second in a series of three new releases by Kerry is 'Gastro Pod' and it is certainly different and entertaining.
The subject piece is a robotic snail, carrying passengers on a journey and do you notice that the snail is powered by steam? which has the dual effects of condensing and watering plants that the creature is potting as it goes.
An imaginative limited edition, hand finished as always and it is pure fictional fantasy by Darlington and yet somehow captivating and brilliant.
There is lots to see: from flowers, to the little puffs of steam, to the passengers in their booths and don't forget the weather vane!

Also known as 'Gastropod' (without space).
'TightAnick' is one of three wondrous new limited edition releases by Kerry and reveals her love for whacky and abstract themes, on this occasion machines!
A novelty cruise ship propelling itself through the water and Darlington's mind is really let loose in this amazing and detailed piece.
There is so much small detail to admire, I wonder did you notice the Ship wreck? the bubble coming out of the machine making clouds or those people in the distance paragliding? this picture tickles me and is very unique.
