Perhaps this new limited edition and its sister piece 'Blue Tree of Charms' is Kerry's subtle nod to this and how they firmly established her in the homes of their many buyers in the noughties (2000s decade).
Since her first self published limited edition came into fruition in Nov 2012, her many fans have been treated to new concepts such as figurative work, more scenes from Alice In Wonderland, scenes from the Wizard of Oz and also other wondrous new ideas such as the Eccentric Machines range: 'TightAnick,' 'Gastro Pod' & 'Beezy Jet!'
Before this Kerry was known up and down the land for her original paintings of Trees in the widely successful: 'Tree Of Life' and 'Tree Of Tranquillity' series of Originals.
As always, the key to these Tree pieces is the subtle juxtapositions of the background to base colours chosen and in this picture we have a warm pink background and a beautiful mauve, red, pink and yellow chosen for the bottom - and yes it works!
