We Timed That Right by Leigh Lambert

As a young family go for a relaxing walk flower picking, Dad announces 'We Timed That Right' just at the moment a steam engine train passes by on the overhead bridge in the background - to everyone's enthrallment!

This is part of the 'Precious Times - Collection' launched in Winter 2022.

Knowing Leigh, this is likely a famous northern railway bridge & my guess would be the Maidenhead Railway Bridge (also known at the ‘Maidenhead Viaduct’) but perhaps you have better knowledge than me?

Leigh has painted this through two mediums: pencil and oil and produced it across all four of his typical finishes: sketch, paper, canvas & deluxe canvas to give you a choice, and of course to match up with any other Lambert's you own!

I love how the children are the most colourful objects on the picture, with the girl in a yellow cardigan and pink dress, while the young babe in arms is in a soft blue; the fluffy clouds round of this perfect family image.
