Oh dear! the family arrive at the seaside only to run into a spot of rain! I wonder who cheekily asks 'Who's Idea Was This?' perhaps the little boy or girl piped up lol.

Very much a 'what happened next?' painting, as I imagine them going to grab a bite to eat at a local cafe, or some hot donuts on the seafront, or perhaps they go and try the amusements machines for a little while? until the shower stops.

I do often wonder what seaside amusements they were like back then but I do know they had them!
