In creating only the lower half of the bodies, Quinn has left it to the viewer to imagine the perfect kiss. On the top of the torsos are rings like tree trunks have. In trees these are used to count the age of the tree and Quinn has reflected this to show that the perfect kiss can be remembered for the rest of our lives.
