Kiss Me - Blush by Louise Dear

Louise Dear is an artist very much inspired by Japanese Art.

Ranging from the style of 18th Century Japanese Artists, right through to the postmodern 'super flat' graphic art movement of contemporary Japan.

As a result, this love of Japanese art and print is very clearly seen in Louise's own art.

Although the artistic process that Dear goes through may be slightly manic, her finished pieces are always extremely ordered and stylised in the way that Japanese art tends to be.

She is also an artist that is driven by colour, as seen in this intense and vibrant piece. Dear uses colour as a way of exploring senses and influencing the emotions of the viewer.
