Blossom by Mackenzie Thorpe

A New release by the beloved Mackenzie Thorpe and something a bit special, here we have 'Blossom.'

Mackenzie travels quite a bit and this new painting was fuelled by his numerous trips to Japan & I am sure Japan’s famous varieties of cherry blossom trees! seen in many postcard images.

As well as the distinct beauty of Blossom, the creation of these limited editions is one of his most unique ever.

Gold metallic leaf is applied to giclee printing and then further luminous paints and inks placed onto the paper using 'old school' silk screening methods, creating incredible layers of depth to these limited editions - topped off with a varnish finish!

In fact, as there is so much hand finished each print is truly unique with natural variations to each edition: the tree, the blossom & the petals, only in person can you admire fully the iridescent colours here.

Created in two sizes, including an oversize edition for those that have the wall space!
