Our last remaining available copy of this splendid blue sculpture has sold but we maybe able to source one further brand new copy, do get in touch.
The little hooded character (I always believe represents Mackenzie himself) and his black and white dog are on a journey.
This limited edition reminds me of the earlier silkscreens: 'At Sea' (from the noughties) and 'Me And My Boat' (July 2009), which was Mackenzie’s last release from Washington Green art publishers.
The dog, although supposed to be a cross-bred one, has a piglet like quality with this ears pinned back from the sea air and 'pig' style patches on his body & one of his paws is black coloured - almost looking like a hoof!
The pair travel in a gorgeous blue rowing boat, effortlessly sailing across a sea of hearts and: 'Over The Sea To Love.'
Mackenzie explorers the endless depth of emotion we feel for one another and for our fellow animals, in this quaint and reflective new sculpture.
There is now less than a handful remaining before it is a sell out piece, so do hurry.
