Shankly Gates by Mackenzie Thorpe

A special Mackenzie Thorpe artwork in celebration of Liverpool Football Club (and of course former manager Shankly), one of the most famous teams in the world.

The 'Shankly Gates' are the iconic monument to Bill Shankly (1913 - 1981) who guided the team to one of their most successful periods, managing the side from 1959 - 1974 and winning a host of domestic and European competitions.

Mackenzie has a special bond with Football, taking him back to his own childhood up north and the dreams he hoped would be fulfilled.
