The title brilliantly reflects the goings on in the image, with the shadowed subjects slowly making their way into the light.
I love the contrast of light and dark and this piece is very much driven by the various tones and shades which situate themselves onto the far right of the mounted silkscreen.
This is a really unique and distinctive piece for the collection and works perfectly with the previous black and white imagery from the creative imagination of Thorpe.
