True Love by Mackenzie Thorpe

This is a welcome continuation of Mackenzie's recent mini-series of what I call the 'By The Lake - Collection;' as an example: 'Just The Two of Us' (2020) limited edition would be an earlier entry.

Reflective and full of soul, the backdrop is the quietest of vista's by a tranquil lake, surrounded by trees and what appears to be reflections in the water.

Overhead is a powerful sky with the cloud breaking and the sun beaming through, with light, love and magnificence!

This reminds me of the many artworks where Mackenzie paints wonderful evocative by skies including: 'Out Of The Clouds' (featuring the popular sheep and shepherd series) and 'First Light' (one of the biggest prints I've ever seen!).

I see the backdrop, trees, water and the sky as 'characters' within Mackenzie's limited editions and they do speak to you.
