This is another superb piece from Mark Grieves. Once again, Mark's interest in the contrast between light and shadow can be seen in this piece.
The little characters that are often seen in his work are portrayed three times in this piece.
Firstly we have the actual characters dancing on the edge of the piano, secondly we have their reflection printed onto the back of the piano, and thirdly we see the shadow of the two characters dancing as one.
The piano and the dancing characters certainly bring a sense of musicality to this piece.
