Mark blends his image for 'Vinyl', two mini figures embracing on the tonearm of a record player, with personalised colours and text.
Choosing a blue-purple blend on the record label, the song title is the nineteenth century piano movement 'Clair de Lune’ by composer Claude ‘Debussy.’
'Clair de Lune’ translates from French as 'Moonlight' and was originally a poem by Frenchman Paul Verlaine in 1869 which then became the inspiration for Debussy’s 3rd movement within his 'Suite bergamasque' (c. 1890).
Later Debussy would create two sets to accompany the poem with piano and voice & its not surprising the poem has become synonymous with Debussy!
A romantic image, naming one of the world’s most famous love poems!
