Welcome to our portfolio the award winning Matt Dwyer, a mixed-media artist from East London and remarkably given the quality of his work, entirely self-taught.

Having had a love for painting & creating since childhood, his artistic promise was recognised by his teachers on entering Secondary School, here in the UK.
Growing into his teenage years Matt had two emerging career paths (often clashing) with dual skills begin to excel at: Rugby Union and Art, but his passion for the later won out and he would go on to graduate, gaining a Graphic Design degree with honours.
In his 20s Matt became a freelance designer and has worked with large High Street Fashion brands creating their artwork, as well as blending other jobs and rolls.
Right up until today, Dwyer keeps his main passion alive but painting art and self-promoting on social media, while building new relationships with trusted independent galleries & juggling having a young family.
Like many of today’s emerging artists, he is open to discovering & creating his own cutting edge painting & production techniques. Equally adept at painting by hand or digitally with a tablet, he also experiments with the mediums his art places on.
As well as on paper and canvas, he paints onto steel, wood, and other textured surfaces, which he preps e.g. by pre-rusting sheets of steel or blow torching surfaces! I encourage you to look at some the amazing results of his artwork reproduced on bespoke furniture such as wooden tables and fireplaces, something truly unique has emerged.
The artist remains very hands on & tactile in the production process, using incredible finesse & nuance, his pictures represent something very unique within UK gallery wall space and indeed 100s of homes.
Matt Dwyer has now featured in magazines, exhibitions, one man shows and galleries in the UK, North America, UAE & beyond, as his reputation continues to build.
