His debut four limited editions have been released in the UK as part of his 'Studio Collection' which are heavily hand finished, for a lush and vibrant feel.
They include the titles: 'Nothing Tastes As Good As Skinny Feels,' 'Don't Let Me Stay,' 'Life Is What You Make It' & 'Truth, Justice And The American Way.' - his take on the iconic celebrities and fictional characters (which is which?!): Kate Moss, David Bowie, Marilyn Monroe and Superman.
Like many of his current contemporaries, Michiel was originally a graffiti artist in the 1990s and spent his time tagging his letters across the city; this slowly morphed away from the hit and run nature of graffiti into 'street art' and he preferred working with stencils, as it allowed him more artistic refinement.

'Gieler' is very much a modern contemporary artist and his originals are created from scraps of street posters (mainly seen in Europe) with the creative use of spray cans and other art mediums - as well as a lot of experimentation!
