This reminds you of the very first limited edition Neil created in 2010 'I Love London!,' featuring a view of London almost in 2-D and Tower Bridge taking centre stage - a series that he returned to many times.
But here the 'camera' raises upwards, as we see the Thames move to the left into the distance as the sun sets, the sky is filled with warm purple-mauve hues just below an orange sunset.
The light reflection has been skilfully painted onto a warm purple Thames, going peacefully under the bridge.
This is a must have Original painting for Neil's many followers - so do order early, this is my favourite of the four new Originals for May 2021.
