I usually get up early, as at 6.30 in the morning my four dogs are noisy and demanding to be taken for a walk. I usually get up early, as at 6.30 in the morning my four dogs are noisy and demanding to be taken for a walk. This is a wonderful way to start the day, as I am a girl outdoors in the heart, and whatever time it provides for me a couple of hours productive. After breakfast, I always try to be in the studio 8.30, and as this is an area that has been built in the garage I have no excuse for being late. I usually try to work through the early afternoon, when, once again, takes dogs and, if time permits, pay a visit to the gym. In a way it is a lonely day, but time flies and I like my job thoroughly. I am naturally a very shy person and I think that the painting is a great way to express myself, and saying what they actually feel!
I have many passions, which are as varied as life. It includes animals, fashion, the outdoors ... All these things have inspired me to paint. I also love to travel both by the sheer pleasure of seeing the world and the opportunity to store up ideas for my next series of paintings! I often feel I do that, rather than choosing a theme, it is preferable to me through my own emotional response to something. I can laugh at a funny face, feeling becalmed for a beautiful sky, or experience the thrill seeking a shoe shop-window! All these things make me feel the need to take a brush and do it! I have learned to make sure that I am never without my sketch book in one hand and my camera in the other, as I write these ideas on paper that I remember exactly how I felt at that moment.
My grandfather was always using images to amuse me, and I have an uncle who is an artist; These two individuals are probably the staff of the strongest influences in my work. I admire a great number of famous artists, of course, but I am unable to cite one in particular as an important figure in my artistic development.
