These are Nigel's first ever 'deluxe' canvas limited editions and apart from their large and impressive size are enhanced with ‘drip paint’ hand embellishment and a gloss added to the finished canvas surface, giving the piece the 'feel' of an original painting.
Nigel has of late brought new never-before-seen colours into his art, and here he uses blues, scarlets and reds - and a touch of unexpected purple!
As the day draws in on Tower Bridge in London, Red Routemaster buses take commuters over the bridge and reflect beautiful orangey reds onto the Thames. Notice the touches of purple-turquoise in the sea, the towers and the posts on both sides of the foreground - beautiful colour enhancements are all over the canvas!
