Overtime Nigel Hemming most popular selling dog art is undoubtedly black labradors and springer spaniels, so which is in the best selling breed? I couldn't say but I can say that Nigel could easily be called the 'Springer Man' as he captures the dog like no other artist.

Summer 2014 sees the launch of two limited edition from a range Nigel has dubbed 'Field Sports' and here we have the spring spaniel image. The gun dog appears to be sprinting and about to change direct & perhaps retrieving on a shoot, the rest of the dog's story is left to your imagination in this monochrome image.

New for late summer 2014 we have this superb new Original artwork by renowned canine art, Nigel Hemming. This is one of two new pieces in the newly titled 'Field Sports' range and we hope it will be a series of paintings and limited editions.

This is very much a working Springer out in the field and full of movement and energy, captured perfectly in the moment, indeed that was Nigel's intention, he said:

'In many ways they are similar in style (to Nov 2012's release 'Cock-Up') - black and white with just a hint of colour - but these I see as snap-shots of the breeds at work in the field. Simple but eye catching - I hope!'
