Beaneath the Moonlight by Paul Corfield

Quite the illustrative departure this for Corfield as his brand new reveal concentrates on a painted scene which has now had twilight befallen upon its existence; when without deviance previously, the esteemed contemporary landscape artist has only ever visually toyed and graphically diced with the concept of daylight hours. What's more 'Beneath the Moonlight' also might seem a little familiar to die-hard Corfield fans, as - along with all three pieces in his brand new, limited edition print autumn collection - the artist revisits some of his old illustrative stomping grounds.

'A Sense of Calm' actually gave rise to this new release, as essentially 'Beneath the Moonlight' is - for the eagle-eyed amongst you - a darkened, virtual facsimile of what once went before, as Corfield seeks to reimagine various prior stop offs in an altogether different light/angle or perceived perspective.
