The turquoise and cool blues of the sky allow for the mood and feeling to take place, with the viewer wanting to take a closer look inside the charming little house which stands alone.

Composition is key to Horton's way of creating, for example the house stands at a three quarter angle to the viewer, whilst surrounding the house are hills and curves all of these elements...

...when combined, allow for a certain depth to take place in the image adding an interesting and unique angle on the scene displayed before us.
