Romanticism is definitely in the air for the happy couple displayed before us. Everything about this image is perfect and Horton purposely does this s that feelings of happiness and pure bliss are heightened within the image.
For example notice the full round moon which radiates its glow upon the two characters. There is also the shooting star which is brilliantly displayed within the navy night sky. From other Giclees', I almost expected to see the smoke from the chimney form a perfect heart shape, however for this piece Horton has added enough elements to display affections of love and so this is not needed.
