Here Comes Summer by Paul Horton

This Spring 2012 new release: 'Here Comes Summer,' is a delightful edition to the Paul Horton limited edition art range. This is the fourth in the series featuring the cove/ bay scene and follows on from: Sea Of Love - Summer 2008, Sail Away With Me - Spring 2009 & Captain Sunshine - Spring 2011.

There is something about the way Paul Horton has positioned this image, the angles and lines that draws the viewer into the picture and towards the horizon.

This giclee on paper also has many artistic features and finishing touches. Did you notice the funfair for example? Just above the houses and to the far right of the limited edition you can see the top of the helter skelter and the roller coaster! This also has Paul Horton's ever popular yellow and white VW camper van, taking centre stage. This piece is all about colour, about enjoyment & the many tranquil holiday destinations that are in this 'green and pleasant land.'

I am sure even those new to Paul Horton's artwork can appreciate this piece as a wonderful naive painting.
