As the seaside resort beach houses each have their own unique colour and shape, the artists displays the mood of pure joy at the prospect of being near the sea. He manages to depict scenes of everyday life, such as figures walking down the street, minding their own business, or a dog running freely along the sand yet make them feel new and exciting.

I particularly appreciate the way in which the sea has been painted, as you can see the attention to detail portrayed with each brush stroke and mark made within the paint.
