Standing next to a wishing well with his adorable little dog and a single red flower, (that you would have noticed Horton often depicts within his images), there is no doubt that the main character is thinking about a lover.
Stripped back of colour so that the subject matter is highlighted, this is a charming and endearing work of art from the artist and in our opinion, is a brilliant step forward for his collection.
