This is the first time Paul has painted a baboon and sees the continuation of his much loved: 'Paul James Urban Graffiti - Collection,' following on from 2019's much loved 'Alfred The Grate' and 'Drag Queen.'
The artist was inspired by a friend's photo of a Baboon, brought back from their visit to Africa, of course in a completely different setting but it was the contemplative nature of the primate that gave Paul the idea.
Notice the Graffiti on the wall? which says 'Why Am I here,' as Paul steers into more philosophical areas but it directly inspired by the photograph his friends bought back!
Once painted, Paul was very pleased with the original and it just needed a name and voila! 'Benjamin.'
