The first thing we can notice about our lovable Goldie, is the creases and ripples of her skin. This is perhaps my favourite feature of the entire image. Paul James paints his subjects so passionately and with love that every single detail is show cased to the viewer in an authentic and genuine representation.
Goldie's composition means that the viewer is confronted with her lovable face and it almost feels as though she wants to break out of her pictorial space. This limited edition canvas embellishes colours that would compliment most walls with its neutral and soft tones, combined with that of its dark backdrop.
