Set to be released officially on 30th November 2019, 'Spotted' is the hotly anticipated new wildlife art by Paul James and I believe will be a beautiful limited edition print of a leopard. The clue is in the title, do you remember the phrase?: 'A Leopard never changes its spots!'
What I can say for sure, is that will be an impressive addition to the growing range of Paul James signed limited edition prints!
Update - Now released, it turns out it was a beautiful image of a leopard; 'Spotted' immediately reminded me of another artist's limited edition Hayley Goodhead's - 'Gucci Girl'; she mixes branding with wildlife, as the eyes are similarly super alert and intelligent.
As is customary for Paul, it is available an 'on paper' and an 'on canvas' limited edition release, allowing you to choose the art medium (and size) that suits you best.
Paul continues to paint and highlight the beauty of animals & the natural world and by raising them in the consciousness of art lovers like you, he hopes the corollary will be that their conservation (& support of charities that preserve them) will also remain high on your agenda.
A more serious portrait of one of the greatest Big Cats in the animal kingdom, the leopard.
It is still what you could call 'contemporary' wildlife art, as the leopard is sat on an almost plain painted background (all be it with warm and inviting tones), but the feeling here is a more serious ones and less zany than Paul's Urban Graffiti (walls) releases.
They say the eyes are the gateway to the soul and I believe that is true as much for animals as it is human beings, as you feel the pathos in his eyes.
Similar in tone and indeed colour pallet to Paul's popular limited edition 'Browned Off' featuring a bear, you feel like you are sensing the world through Paul's eyes and how heartfelt he is about the protection of wildlife & their continued plight.
