A painting of Sir John Arthur 'Jack' Brabham (1926 - 2014), perhaps Paul's first, and he was affectionately known as 'BHAM.'
Competing in Formula 1 from 1955 - 1970 as a driver, later going on to be an executive, he and his race team held numerous achievements.
He won the F1 World Drivers Championship in 1959, 1960 & 1966; he co-founded ‘Motor Racing Developments Ltd’ with Ron Tauranac, commonly known as ‘Brabham’ (originally 1960 - 1992) and he remains the only driver to win the F1 Championship in his own team’s car!
Also, Brabham were the first F1 team to use wind tunnels to test and design their cars!
