I Am Vengeance - (Batman - Val Kilmer) by Paul Oz

I have just discovered this is taken Paul's original painting in 2014 and its actually Val Kilmer as the Caped Crusader!

The iconic Superhero Batman is brought to life with the paintbrush of Paul Oz, for spectacular effect.

'Batman' makes a surprisingly good pairing with Paul's limited editions: 'Arthur - The Joker' (Joaquin Phoenix) or the earlier 'Smile Because It Confuses People' (Heath Ledger) and of course both Heath and Christian appeared in The Dark Knight movie.

Incidentally, this was the highest grossing film of 2008!

Many artists seem to enjoy creating superhero masks, recently digital artist Monica Vincent made must have limited editions of Batman & Spiderman masks in: 'Gotham Knight' & 'Spider Bite.'

This is an amazing impressionist vision of the DC Comic Book hero, who has taken to the big screen as a movie lead nine times in the modern era and it will soon be ten, with next year's 'The Batman (2021)' movie, set to be starring Robert Pattinson.

Paul has painted Val Kilmer here but if I would have guessed, I would have said it was Christian Bale behind the mask (although I initially considered it Michael Keaton!), from Christopher Nolan's superb The Dark Knight Trilogy.
