The stunning oil painting of F1 driver Charles Leclerc (from which these limited editions are taken) was commissioned by Swiss company ‘Velas,’ one of the Scuderia Ferrari Team sponsors - although I did read that deal was terminated early in Jan 2023 for some legal reason!

Continuing Paul's racing helmet portraits, here we have the Monégasque driver’s instantly recognisable red and white embellished one.

This amazing painting celebrates Charles’s first Formula 1 win: the opening Grand Prix of the 2022 season in Bahrain; by the time this print appeared in gallery windows Leclerc has three 2022 Grand Prix victories under his belt: the Bahrain (March), Australia (April) and Austrian Grand Prix (July).

Charles remained a contender for the Formula 1 World championship in 2022 and in the end finished a fantastic second behind eventual winner Max Verstappen.
