Paul Oz looks back at the 2023 season, where Charles Leclerc gained pole position in Las Vegas on the Friday under floodlights for the Saturday race.
This was of course the first Las Vegas Grand Prix, which utilised parts of the Strip as the circuit and Leclerc would top his then Ferrari team mate Carlos Sainz’s lap time by 0.044 seconds!
In interviews Leclerc said he could have done better!
