A new addition to the Paul Oz Lewis Hamilton Collection, and the artist has captured the British driver winning Formula One’s 1000th Race & Lewis's 75th career victory at the Chinese Grand Prix - April 14th 2019.
Taking place on the Shanghai International Circuit, this was the 3rd Round of the 2019 F1 World Championship but surprisingly to me, this was Lewis (in Mercedes) 6th victory at the event and perhaps he is now near to mastery of this circuit.
The iconic image of Lewis with the '1000th' Trophy on the podium was beamed around the world to the millions of Formula 1 fans and it is so fitting that Paul has captured the moment forever. Lewis is about to raise the Heineken (the sponsor) trophy overhead, with the iconic Green, Silver and Red star of the branded beer.
Lewis's teammate Valtteri Bottas (Mercedes) came second and Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari) came third.
I believe this is Paul's 7th release in his Lewis Hamilton Collection (from Wishbone Fine Art publishers) and following on from the limited editions & original art:
Still I Rise - #6 (2019)
Hamilton & Bottas 18 (2019)
Union Lewis III (2018)
Lewis Title 18 (2018)
Mexico Lewis (2017)
Bling (2017)
A testament to the demand for Paul's artwork and F1 fan's love for Lewis Hamilton.
