I was born in the village of Dosthill, Staffordshire in 1955, the picture remains a hobby that reflects a love of rural life, landscape and its fauna. I know that these activities formed the basis for subsequent development in art and design.
In education, the arts and related subjects became an important stimulus, confirmed enthusiasticallly 'after hours', as it was very short time allotted in the school curriculum. After completing a foundation course design multi-disciplinary studied at the Polytechnic of North Staffordshire, where he graduated with first-class honors. Those formative years allowed me to cover many disciplines, an integral part of my creative development, which I can trace many influences in my work later.
For several years I became heavily involved in trade in the area of design, mainly in products for interior design, however remains the photograph as a continuous thread throughout this period. In the early 90s I decided to channel all my energy into photography, creative expression of which I had sole control and derivatives such pleasure.
