Artist of the Year 2010, Rebecca Lardner, has made quite a name for herself within the art world for her fantastically painted English harbour scenes.

'Dinner for Two' has stuck to her winning formula of providing her fan base with coastal scenes but she has taken a slightly different route in terms of the composition.

Much like the two ginger tomcats who are about to tuck in to the fish supper, we, the viewers, are also peering at the harbour from beyond a window; indicated by the blue patterned curtains that frame the sides of the scene.
