‘Family Gathering - Sculpture’ is just that, but they are of course puffins placed on a base that looks just like a rock! - the weight of the sculpture adding to the illusion.

Rebecca's lovely puffins brought to life in a New sculpture, with her naive versions of the diving seabirds. In fact, sometimes you forget you are looking at caricatures of the birds: mum, dad and baby, with their muppet like eyes.

I love the pitted detail on their two-toned feathers, the colourful beaks and the very detailed, & realistic feet. Rebecca manages to take birds from her paintings into the artistic medium of collectable sculptures!
