Such a perfect quayside image, so good that Rebecca released it as an 'on paper' and 'on canvas’ limited edition - at the same time!
Filled with her little people & houses, and this time with bunting on many of them, so perhaps a day of celebration or bank holiday as I am not sure what is ‘usual’ down on the south coast!
One fishing boat goes out to work and two are coming in, and Rebecca has painted the sea a lovely aqua-green colourway. Those that follow her know she alternates between those shades and a more traditional blue for painting the sea.
People are taking their dogs for a walk, fishing with a single line and on the right the children sit and watch a Punch & Judy show; in the foreground left we have purple flowers and centre a seagull bookshelfed by his two oystercatcher friends.
A beautiful day by the coast, where the sea is calm, the air is salty and the weather if fine!
