The matching named sculpture is here: ‘Waves Cafe - Sculpture.’ - the sculpture scene appears in the right foreground of the canvas picture!
'Waves Cafe - Picture' is the latest edition in the artist's highly collectable art range and comes with a sister canvas release called 'The Puff Inn - Picture’
This is part of a new series for Summer 2023 and called the 'Rebecca Lardner - On The Waterfront - Collection' and features two matching size limited edition canvases and two loveable & highly detailed sculptures.
While I always imagine these scenes as the Cornish coastline, they are in fact depictions of various places in the British isles, including evidence I have seen that it could be the Shetland Isles!
Ideal as a pair with 'The Puff In - Picture,' these can of course be bought as one off framed pictures.
(Rebecca has also painted ‘Waves Cafe - Picture’ as a wonderful limited edition canvas)
What better way to refuel at breakfast or lunch time than with a visit to the Waves Café? as this cute little sculpture recreates every nook and cranny of your favourite seaside eatery.
This is one of two new releases for Summer 2023 and are the artists’ first ever sculptures of towns themselves (rather than birds or boats!), the other limited edition being: ‘The Puff Inn - Sculpture.’
Amazing mini detail is here: rowing boats, buoys, barrels and as well as neatly created multi-coloured houses and windows, we even have a Royal Mail post box – yes, the world really is a small place!
The blue flag with the white cross flying on a pole reminds us we are very much in the Shetland Isles, and I’m starting to suspect Rebecca has modelled this café after a real place!
