Born in the Midlands, in 1976, Richard's artistic inclinations were apparent from an early age. As a boy who dreamed of being a painter, and that sees itself as one of the lucky life, gifted with the talent to turn dreams into reality. After graduating from the University of Central England with an impressive degree with first-class honors in Visual Communication, Richard became a professional illustrator of children from the books and made numerous design projects of others. He was soon invited to display a selection of his work at the New Designers Exhibition in London and 24 images, an exhibition which opened at the Royal College of Art and then a tour of the country in selected galleries. Lovingly executed in acrylic, its landscapes shine explore brightness tones Provencale summers, and has immediacy and charm that have delighted art buyers throughout the UK. His broad brush strokes and toothed mix with surprising ease to create harmonious pastoral images, though they evoke the memory of our best and long days of summer. His numerous exhibitions have provided a wealth of new ideas to ensure that this brilliant, young and dynamic talent has a great future ahead of him.
I am fortunate to be able to paint almost every day in my local study. It seems to me that a visit early in the morning I go to the gym, both physically and mentally, so try to begin each day this way. I like to get to my studio feeling positive and full of energy, and I am sure that this contributes to the fact that I always seem to do my best work in the morning! I generally tend to try to work 9-5, because like all those who have a limited amount of energy and I do not want to produce short of the paintings through fatigue. As I said, I am more productive in the morning, and I think this is also partly due to the light that comes flow at that time of day. I am very organized and tend to concentrate on one piece at a time, although they do tend to have some experimental work on the fly simultaneously, which is often not shown, but I! On a good day, only the flow of ideas and I love the time spent in the studio and I can not wait to go back there. Sometimes it's a bit more difficult, such as work, but either way, I am looking to find a finish in the composition of the experience extremely rewarding.
I love painting, and am inspired by the whole concept of creativity; The idea that a blank canvas can become something that anyone can appreciate is very exciting for me. I also enjoy the fact that a painting can mean different things to different people, so he painted a scene after a glorious trip to Provence to remind me that kissed day with my sketchbook, while for another person it can evoke memories of a childhood vacation, or a romantic summer evening! Of course, the landscape is a great source of inspiration for me, especially in the south of France, Italy and Spain. Every time I look out of a window in Tuscany, the scene to me is so beautiful impossible I wonder if I am actually looking for an idyllic or painting.
Although I love visiting galleries at home and abroad, and admire the work of many artists, I would not say that any particular individual has influenced my style. I think subconsciously I saw all the art over the years has had an effect on me, I talked about the teaching of form, color and technique, and I like to think they have absorbed these lessons at work I do.
A painting for me begins with the vision of a sunny slope or a glorious cloudless sky. I rarely in the place notwithstanding the painting, but prefer to keep the memory of my camera, I take many pictures of all angles, and then translate the memory on the canvas in the studio. Despite the fact that I have been very happy with acrylic paint for most of my life, I have recently begun to explore the possibilities of alternative livelihoods, but we have not yet found anything that gives me the same vibrant colors that are an essential part my pictures.
