Lost In Thought by Rob Hefferan

Looking out of the large open windows, you can clearly see how light plays a huge part in Rob's latest limited edition canvas.

The image is made to feel more spacious, with bursts of natural sunlight seeping through onto the floorboards, as well as the figure herself.

In 'Lost in Thought' the female appears to be dressed up, almost as though she is anticipating meeting someone, perhaps a lover.

However, she may have just come home after a certain encounter and is contemplating previous events - Hefferan leaves it up to you to decide the story.

Either way, this is an elegant and timeless image, with the artist making its subject matter certainly relatable to the masses, as at one time or another we all find ourselves lost in our own thoughts.
