Perhaps my favourite piece from the artist's latest collection so far, Hefferan cleverly manages to combine two movements, photorealism painting and expressionism!
The figure's faces and bodies look so real that you have to double take in order to not mistake for a photograph, yet the bottom half of the subjects are painted with more fluidity and a loser expressive style, allowing us to confirm that this is indeed a painting.
This is certainly an exciting piece and a subtle transition in style for the artist!
