The interest of combining both worlds and interpreting them within his works is what drives the artist and it is with that fascination of old and new that allow his works to stand out among his contemporaries.
Heavily influenced by the likes to Cezanne, Sakko creates an impressionist way of working and his style is somewhat unusual in that he paints his oils or acrylics onto Perspex directly, whilst painting it in reverse so that you are able to view the subject through a reflective surface.This highlights the creative imagination the artist possesses and this has enabled the successful exhibitions of his work all across Europe.
