Sarah Graham presents her brand new limited edition box canvas: 'Marble Carnival' new for Summer 2012.
This is the fifth limited edition featuring marbles and follows on from: Found My Marbles - Spring 2010, Mirror Ball - Summer 2010, On A Roll Spring - 2011 & Emerald Marble - Spring 2012.
This is technically a very layered artistic composition, with an incredible depiction of reflection in the marbles themselves and the use of varying degrees of focus in the picture.
Can you see the second from right marble? it is perfectly in focus; the marble second from left is less so and the remaining picture behind those appears blurred.
I also marvel at her use of colours & the sweet wrapper in the background, makes a nice finishing touch!
There is so much to see on this box canvas, have you noticed the marbles themselves have been painted on a reflective surface? A brilliant box canvas.
