Gasp! by Sarah Jane Szikora

As the overly large lady places herself on top of the substantially smaller man, he struggles to breathe outstretching his exaggerative skinny arms and legs as his torso is completely flattened by the weight of his lover.

You can notice how there are pizza boxes on the floor and I bet you any money that two of them were consumed by the lady as they lazily sit back on the sofa watching TV.

This is a fantastic and amusing piece of art.

As you may have noticed, her paintings have proved to be extremely popular, so much so that they also feature in sculpture form, which then really allows her work to come to life, making this a must have for any Szikora collector!

The tongue and cheek comedic element is ever present as the larger lady gasps; whilst the smaller man attempts to reach down to touch her.

Although she is gasping, we know from Szikora's style that her women are more often than not the domineering figure within the image and we can guess that she probably hoped he would touch her there and that this, more than likely, isn't a gasp of horror!
