I wonder if the female has any idea that her portrait is in fact a cupcake!

This is a really clever idea in which the artist creates a wonderful comical scene which only the male character and ourselves are a part of; everyone is on the joke apart from the woman who has probably been seated for some time and expects a realistic interpretation of herself!

You can notice how the male had already made several attempts to capture his subject's composition; however cake is at the forefront of his mind and so any further attempts to paint the female has been exempt as he gives in to his cravings.
