Size Matters by Sarah Jane Szikora

Choosing a deliberately quirky title certainly coincides with the nature of the painting, which stars a gigantic box of chocolates, (a subject in which you might have noticed is dear to Szikora's heart!)

The women featured in her works are always the more dominant figure and their shapes and form stand larger than the men which, more often than not, appear to be the more fragile and weaker of the two sexes in her depictions.

You can see that the male brings about a miniature version of her chocolates as he carries her flowers in his other hand, she however is far more interest in the larger box as to her 'Size Matters'.
